Hi Guyz (Girls?)
i know this is only an 50% Serato topic, BUT i'm sure many of you in here have checked out both, and therefor can guide me, come with your experience
I'm new in this Dj Controller scene (not new as a Dj) and i want to get a Dj Controller for home use (fun) for my mix studio, first i was sure to get the DDJ SR, but then i saw the DDJ RR, but got concerned about all the problems i read about it :o(
my thoughts are.
The SR is stable, well tested, BUT 'old' and may not be supported much longer (because of Rekordbox DJ)
The RR can do/look more or less the same, BUT is a new model, with Pioneers own dj system and will be supported in the future, but seams to have alot of trouble (?)
i have never used either, Serato or Rekordbox (I use Cool Edit + FL Studio)
so if Serato or Rekordbox Dj, doesn't matter for me, i'm more like, is Rekordbox so unstable as i read, or is it just a few bad stories, and i'll be better of with the newer (RR) model ?
Why this topic from me ?? well i would like your inputs, from your knowhow, what you have tested or have/using already yourself (its either the SR or RR for me, so no other model ideas please :o)))
;o) K
